The Southeast Permanente Medical Group Adds Plastic Surgery to List of Specialties Offered
TSPMG is pleased to announce that they have added Plastic Surgery to the growing list of specialties that are offered to metro Atlanta members. Two TSPMG plastic surgeons – Josef G. Hadeed, MD and Eric Odessey, MD will see patients at the Kaiser Permanente Glenlake Medical Office (beginning September 1) and Kaiser Permanente Brookwood Medical Office (beginning October 5), for consults and outpatient procedures.
The initial focus of the department is on reconstruction and repairs such as skin grafts, wound repair, lesion excisions, and breast repair and reconstruction. Longer-term, they may offer some fee-for-service cosmetic procedures such as fillers, liposuction and excess skin removal. They do not plan to offer tattoo removal, and they will not handle pediatric pediatric/craniofacial plastic surgery currently performed by network physicians.
Dr. Hadeed received his medical degree from Temple University. He completed a residency in General Surgery at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and a residency in Plastic Surgery at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Odessey received his medical degree from Emory University and completed his residency in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at The University of Chicago Hospitals. He is Board certified in Plastic Surgery. Prior to joining TSPMG, he was in private practice in Binghamton, NY.
